Directions to the Light Horse Tavern

from New Jersey Turnpike

• Exit 14C Christopher Columbus Drive, Jersey City
• Go to Light at end of exit ramp, make right (Montgomery Street)
• Continue on Montgomery St. until the Washington Street intersection.
• Make right onto Washington Street, proceed to the intersection of Washington Street and Morris Street  (approximately 5 blocks)

from the Holland Tunnel

• As you exit the tunnel stay on the right side.  Take your first right on to Marin Blvd.
• There is a Hess gas station on the corner.  Follow 18th street, which turns into Washington blvd.  Follow this street for approx. 2 miles to Morris Street.
• Light Horse Tavern is located on the NW corner of Washington St. and Morris St.

from the Exchange Place PATH

Walk for about 2 blocks west on Montgomery, and make a left on Washington Street. Walk 3 blocks towards Light Horse Tavern on the right.

from the Essex Station – LIGHT RAIL

Get off at Essex Station which is on Morris Street and walk a block towards Washington Street.

Customer Parking

Customer parking is on street around restaurant or use Central Parking, which is in Liberty Towers located at #33 Hudson Street, on the corner of Morris and Hudson Street, one block east of the restaurant. Please watch out for street cleaning between 1 and 3 pm on Mondays and Tuesdays, and remember that Essex Street is permit-parking only.
